Who you're dealing with
Mike Klish has been around coins a long time. Collecting them, studying them, buying and selling them. Knapp Coin Co grew out of that. It runs out of Knapp, Wisconsin, with a booth at an antique store in Hudson where you can see pieces in person.
The whole thing is built on one idea: you should never feel like you got taken. A lot of people walk into a gold-buying counter with their grandfather's collection and walk out with a fraction of what it's worth, because the guy behind the glass is paying melt value and counting on you not knowing the difference.
That's not how this works. If a coin is worth more than its metal, and a lot of collectible coins are, you'll hear it. If it's not, you'll hear that too. Straight answers either way.

The booth is inside Abigail Page Antique Mall in downtown Hudson, WI, two floors of the historic Taylor and Gross building. Walk in, ask for the coin case, take your time.
